Over 1 million Californians do not have access to safe and affordable drinking water. Do you know if the drinking water in your community is safe? Does your community need support getting safe and affordable drinking water? Do you want to be part of the solution?

The SAFER Program is here to help! Learn more about the SAFER Program and how it can help you and your community at the SAFER Summer Series!

The SAFER Summer Series is part of the California State Water Resources Control Board’s Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) program. The SAFER program is designed to ensure that Californians who lack safe and affordable drinking water receive it as quickly as possible. The SAFER program is helping water systems achieve this goal through a set of tools, funding sources, regulatory authorities, and community outreach and education activities.

Interpretation services are available for the SAFER Summer Series!

If you need interpretation services, please email SAFER@waterboards.ca.gov or call 916.445.5615 at least 10 business days before the event.

All events are open to the public and registration is not required.
