On October 30, California Water Service (Cal Water) celebrated its 90th birthday by hosting an afternoon of fun and entertainment for the public at the Visalia Convention Center. With more than 2,000 celebrants, the event featured song and dance performances by local youth groups, carnival games, free hotdogs and root-beer floats, a costume contest with prizes for kids and a vintage car show. Cal Water also paid homage to local 90-year-olds who attended the event.

To honor its commitment to find homes for rescued dogs and cats, Cal Water presented a donation to the Valley Oak SPCA, which brought adoptable animals to the event.
