California Water Association is pleased to announce the transition in leadership from Ed Jackson, President of Liberty Utilities, California, to John Tang, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations at San Jose Water. John will serve as CWA’s President for the next two years, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to advancing water issues across California.
CWA follows a biennial leadership rotation, allowing fresh perspectives and diverse leadership from among our member companies. John Tang’s extensive experience in regulatory affairs and his dedication to water stewardship make him an excellent fit to guide CWA’s mission of ensuring safe, reliable, and affordable water services across the state.
We also welcome Jon Pierotti, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Golden State Water Company, who joins the CWA leadership team as Treasurer. Jon takes over for Joel Reiker, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for San Gabriel Valley Water Company, who previously served in this role.
We extend our gratitude to Ed Jackson for his invaluable contributions and leadership over the past two years and look forward to a new chapter with John Tang at the forefront.
