The California Water Service Group is now accepting applications for its annual college scholarship program. The scholarships are open to students in areas served by any of the utility’s subsidiaries in California, Hawaii, Washington, and New Mexico.
More than $80,000 in scholarships will be awarded this year, including two $10,000 scholarships. To be eligible for one of the scholarships, students must be pursuing a degree in higher education and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study program at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community service, and financial need.
